We recently had a visit from a team from Cincinnati who loves to come and help meet those felt needs. Below is Paul Stanken. Paul has likely been on nearly a dozen trips with Back2Back in Monterrey, but this was his first trip to Cancun. We spent three days together as we introduced him to the children's homes, the programs, the pastors, and the families we are working with around town. And then the fun part...we provided meals, and we went shopping!

We purchased groceries for Gloria and Lucy, and for Oti's families. We took Oti's children shopping for school supplies because they were greatly lacking. We went shopping with the Madre Polita from Casa Hogar San Jose, and helped pick out a portable stove for them be able to put on fundraisers for their home. We bought fabric for San Jose to be able to make school uniforms. We ordered guitars so that we can begin a music class at the children's shelter in the DIF here in town. We picked up towels and small kitchen appliances for Casa Hogar Esperanza...and this list goes on. Thank you Lord for the ways you provide for those who have need, and in such fun, creative ways - what a joy to be a part of it all!
