Jimena, Jorge & Jirome

During our third week of missions teams we were visited again by our friend, Amy Rudge, and this time she was accompanied by a group of 22 senior high schoolers. One of the many things we were able to do together that week was to celebrate a special birthday at Casa Hogar San Jose. Not one, not two, but three kids out of the 14 who call San Jose their home celebrated birthdays in June. And it just so happens that all three are siblings!

During the month of June, Jimena turned 11, Jorge turned 9, and their youngest sister Jirome turned 7. It was a blast to be able to take them cake, and gifts, and celebrate along with our staff, interns, and visitors from Horizon in Cincinnati.
