We were beyond blessed this summer to have extra summer staff support through the two-week visit of Hope Maglich from our Monterrey team. Not only was it amazing to have an extra staff person around to assist with all of the details of working with visiting missions teams, but it was especially great because of the good friend that Hope is to Julie, myself and our family.
We have known Hope since she finished her senior year in high school and came to serve with Back2Back for a three month stint as an 18 year old. Ever since we've known her we have loved her, loved her love for the Lord, and hoped we might be blessed enough to have daughters to grow up to be like her!
We've seen Hope in action as an intern with Back2Back, as a teacher for two years to some of our children when they attended the Sierra Madre Christian Academy, and now as full-time staff for a couple of years. We are always blessed by time with her, by her love of Jesus, and by the way she "leaks" the Holy Spirit on all around her. It was a great pleasure and a gift to have her here with us for those two weeks. Thanks Hope, we love you!
