The Best

I love how God always, always, always has the BEST for His children. Of course I am reminded often just how true this is - but this Monday I was reminded anew as my wife, Julie, celebrated a birthday.

It's not always easy to do, but this year I was able to pull off a surprise for her! Thanks to the fact that her mother is here visiting, I was able to wisk her away from the homeschool classroom for a few hours and we were able to go on a little boat tour, and snorkeling together. It was the most relaxing, amazing date-time that we have had together for a long time. It was just what we needed.

God is a God who ALWAYS gives us just what we need, when we need it. This year, on my wife's birthday I am reminded that she was, and continues to be JUST what I need. I give thanks to God for sending me the wife, friend and partner in life that He knew would be the BEST for me. I love you Julie, and praise God for the joy it is to be on this continued adventure with you! God knew I would need you, and I'm so thankful that you're here with me every step of the way.
