Watching God Bless Oti

After our prayer time and dedication of the pregnancy center we took the Women's Group to meet Oti and her eight children. We had a chance to hear a bit of her testimony, to pray with their family, to visit with them, and to bless them with Christmas gifts that the women had prepared for each of one of them.

One of my favorite moments of our visit was the excitement on the face of Oti's oldest son, 14-year-old, Ricky. Oti shared that in a house full of 6 sisters, and one baby brother, it is easy for him to feel left out, jealous, and like no one remembers him - like he's not special. So, when he realized that we had brought a gift for him, his face lit up, and more so as he pulled each item out of the gift bag - it was priceless!

I was also extremely excited to meet three college students who were there to visit as well that day. The three of them are looking for a place to complete their social service hours, and they are considering using their hours to tutor Oti's children, get them evaluated, and get them enrolled in school. I love how quickly God goes to work and answers prayers!
